This Privacy Policy explains what data Swaptide collects and how it is used. We collect the minimum data necessary to process your exchange orders.

1. Data we collect

Order data (currencies, amounts, deposit/receiving addresses), technical metadata (IP address, browser user agent, and browser/system language) for every order, and — only if you contact us — your name, email address, and message.

This technical metadata is also collected because our liquidity partner, which executes the actual currency exchange, requires it for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance as a condition of processing swaps on our platform.

2. What we don't collect

We do not require identity documents for standard swaps, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

3. Data retention

Order records, including the technical metadata described above (IP address, user agent, language), are retained for a minimum of one year for accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes, and to meet our liquidity partner's compliance requirements. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for theme preference and, if enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns.

You may request a copy of, or deletion of, any personal data we hold about you by contacting support@swaptide.io.
